The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle #1) 30, Mar

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars

As an avid adult fantasy reader, out of all books that I’ve been recommended to, The Name of the Wind has always been the most recommended to me. Google, Goodreads, book reviewing sites, 9gag, even some people who doesn’t read a lot of fantasy books, they all praised the series and now that I’ve read it, it’s in my opinion while it’s slightly overrated, there’s no doubt that this is a fantastic adult high (not Epic, there’s a difference there) fantasy book.

You know that feeling when you finish a book and think "It wasn't as good as the first, i should rate it with less stars", but then think "It is still excellent, and doesn't deserve less than a perfect score" ? That's the case here.

The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) 16, Jun

What a truly wonderful book... It's a rare thing to find a true master of words among the modern fantasy nowadays.I consider Rothfuss to be one of the top 5 new era fantasy authors, alongside with Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks & Mark Lawrence.
