SHE WAKES IN WATER is the second book of the Hammer of Witches trilogy. A urban fantasy series about a young half-Graeae (those witches from Clash of the Titans) who hunts down witches after a coven of them murders her mother. Having successfully destroyed the coven that did so and has been hunting fae for spell parts, Agatha continues to hunt down evil witches because what else is she supposed to do with her life?

Villain's Defeat (The Shadow Master #4) by MK Gibson Book Review 21, Mar

4/5

The SHADOW MASTER series by MK Gibson is a delightful comedic send-up of Dark Lords, supervillains, and antagonists in fiction. Jackson Blackwell a.k.a the Shadow Master has one of the most unique jobs in the multiverse: he is an advisor to villains. If you are a Sauron, a Ganon, or Doctor Doom then you might find yourself in need of advice on how to step up your game then the Shadow Master is the one to call.

Deicide (Agents of MORTAL #1) by M.K Gibson Book Review 29, Mar

4.5/5

DEICIDE (Agents of MORTAL) by M.K. Gibson is the latest offering from an author that has done a lot of books that I've enjoyed. I've read his TECHNOMANCER, VILLAINS RULE, and SHE DREAMS OF FIRE novels. Like a lot of the indie authors I know, he's on the Kindle Unlimited system and effectively a free-ish book source for subscribers. Gibson's book are heavy on the humor, irony, and cynicism with his protagonists tending to be somewhat sardonic heroes in the Harry Dresden mold.
