Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe (Deadpool Killogy #1)

The title is pretty self-explanatory.

Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, slices through the fourth wall and seeks to eliminate every Marvel hero and villain. The storyline lacks and, while some last longer than others, no one fight is truly fleshed out and leaves a lot to be desired. Also, where the heck are the jokes? I kept waiting for a LOL moment and never got one. I mean, come on.. its Deadpool. The snarky motormouth with a license in annoyance. Seriously disappointed in that.

I will say that, at the beginning of each issue, there was a statement of "Because you demanded it." Well, just because it was demanded doesn't mean you have to half-a$$ each issue to just prove a point. Give it some dang substance. Plus, that ending... Come on.

I'm a fan of Cullen Bunn and will continue reading everything he puts out, but I felt like this could have been so much more and it just wasn't. It's also really short which is probably why I am much disappoint. Talajic did do a great job with the artwork, so props. Also, this is a series so maybe it'll get better as it progresses. *Fingers crossed*
