Orconomics is a whole lot of fun. If you’re looking for an enjoyable read that’ll hook you early and leave you giggling, then Zach Pike has written it, and as I mentioned earlier, it’s called Orconomics. This humorous novel reimagines the standard fantastical world of high-stakes adventuring through the lens of capitalism… to amusing affect.

This week I've read and am reviewing J. Zachary Pike's Orconomics: A Satire. I'm just going to come out and say it, without reservation, shame, or regret - I loved this book.
The original DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS was a game which didn't stand up to much scrutiny. You were a group of adventurers who headed into a pre-created maze of tunnels, castles, and sewers to kill the monsters inside in order to steal their treasure. Sometimes, gamers noticed that they were the invaders and a few even made the joke that it was Hate Crimes: The RPG.
