When I know that I'm closing on a big battle or an awesome fight scene while reading, I usually put some metal or rock music on the background. I mean, what's better than listening to Battle Hymn by Manowar while reading the Battle of Five Armies? Sometimes I even get surprised by my song choice, since not only the soundtrack fit with what i'm reading, but the lyrics as well. So, here is a list with 10 fictional characters, and the songs that represent them best. Heavy spoilers ahead.

Durzo Blint is the best wetboy (assassin) the world has ever seen. Immortal and invincible, he changed the course of history more times than he remembers.
8. Auri (The Kingkiller Chronicle) - Elan (Nightwish)
Auri is one of the most enigmatic characters in modern fiction. Leaving between the real world and her own, balancing between reality and fantasy, her whole life is a fairy tale.
9. Kelsier (Mistborn) - Chop Suey (System Of A Down)
Kelsier has lost his wife, and everything else beside. He lives imprisoned for the rest of his life, in a world where an immortal tyrant rules the world for over a thousand years. But one day he decides to fight for his life, his people, and the fate of the world. And he keeps smiling while he does it.
10. Jorg Ancrath (The Broken Empire) - King of Kings (Motorhead)
Jorg, a young Prince who watched his mother and young brother murdered & raped by the men of another King, decides to avenge their death, and conquer a hundred or so Kingdoms on the way, re-establishing a long-lost Empire.
