The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle #1) 30, Mar

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars

As an avid adult fantasy reader, out of all books that I’ve been recommended to, The Name of the Wind has always been the most recommended to me. Google, Goodreads, book reviewing sites, 9gag, even some people who doesn’t read a lot of fantasy books, they all praised the series and now that I’ve read it, it’s in my opinion while it’s slightly overrated, there’s no doubt that this is a fantastic adult high (not Epic, there’s a difference there) fantasy book.

Red Sister (Book of the Ancestor #1) 25, Mar

Rating: 4/5 Stars

Bloody, consecration, philosophical, multitude of female casts, lesbian relationship and badass warrior nuns, Red Sister has been a wonderful surprise for me. After the struggle I had with the first 25% of the book, it’s a wonder how the rest of the book could made me love it but oh nun (ha ha ha) it did.

Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection (The Stormlight Archive #2.5) 21, Mar

Rating: 4/5 Stars

Arcanum Unbounded is without a doubt a must read for any Sanderson’s Cosmere fans. Every book in the Cosmere has always been my comfort read, I can always count on them to spark my love for reading again and this Cosmere collection of novellas and short stories holds true to that statement, it can be defined as the apt complementary to my comfort food.
