Vampire: The Masquerade: Winter's Teeth: The Mortician's Army (Winter's Teeth #2) by Tim Seeley, Blake Howard, and Tini Howard Book Review 03, Aug

4/5

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE: VOL. 2: THE MORTICIAN'S ARMY by Tim Seeley, Blake Howard, and Tini Howard is the second installment of the entertaining graphic tie-in to the World of Darkness gameline. It finishes up the main story started in Winter's Teeth and while there is a three-issue follow-up, I think this is mostly a complete arc by itself.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (Dunk and Egg #1) by George R.R. Martin Book Review 29, Jul

5/5

George R.R. Martin may finish THE WINDS OF WINTER and the rest of A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE but like winter itself, it’s coming but hasn’t arrived yet. In the meantime, though, we have the excellent FIRE AND BLOOD history novel plus A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS. This is a compilation of three novellas set in the Targaryen dynasty’s height and considerably lighter and softer.

Fire and Blood: 300 Years Before A Game of Thrones (The Targaryen Dynasty: The House of the Dragon) by George R.R. Martin Book Review 26, Jul

4.5/5

George R.R. Martin released A Dance with Dragons in 2011 and we've been waiting eleven years for the sequel, The Winds of Winter. However, that doesn't mean that he hasn't been active during this time. He has been laying the groundwork for multiple new television series, wrote part of The World of Ice and Fire, and hinted at continuing his Dunk and Egg series that I quite enjoy. However, I think the thing he accomplished most in that time is Fire and Blood.
