Talon (Talon #1)

2.5 stars

What prompted me to read this book was the cover and the name of the book (which, I might add, alone deserved 4 stars for catching attention) but the story itself was so typical and cliché filled that I was thoroughly disappointed.

Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2)

Bittersweet. That’s what it was. I’m actually moping to see the journey that started in Six of Crows end in Crooked Kingdom. Leigh Bardugo’s meticulously crafted world and her characters have weaseled their way into my heart, and I feel it extremely hard to let go.

The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard, #1)

Well, this was utterly, incredibly, inconceivably yet delightfully unexpected!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

This was so good! Thoroughly enjoyable and deeply nostalgic, I savoured every moment of the script, although watching the play would have been a much more incredible experience that would've made up for some of the blandness of a script. But alas! You cannot have it all.

The Final Empire (Mistborn #1)

“Plots beyond plots, plans beyond plans. There was always another secret”

An epic read, Brandon Sanderson gives you an exhilarating piece of fantasy. It’s a high that you might not ever get over. I don’t think I will.
