Little Brother by Cory Doctorow is a seminal near future work that makes the challenges of privacy and security in the internet age a tantalizing YA thriller.

Terrifying and brilliant. It wears its politics on its sleeve and embraces its setting of a very familiar looking San Francisco. The character of Marcus and his first person narration makes it all matter to the reader.
